Officers want to trace man in connection with a serious assault in Derby

Officers want to speak to this man in connection with a serious assault in Melbourne Street, off Normanton Road, Derby.
 
The incident, which took place at around 6.30am on Sunday, October 7, saw two men attack two other men with hammers.
 
A 19-year-old man was left with minor injuries while the second man, aged 26, required surgery to a number of serious injuries to his head.
 
Following extensive enquiries a 30-year-old Derby man has been arrested and released on police bail in relation to the incident, however, detectives have been unable to identify the man pictured.
 
Officers are keen to speak to the man, or anyone with any information about his identity or the incident.
