Alert message sent 24/01/2019 12:56:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Police & Crime Commissioner

Local Egginton residents held their Parish Council meeting to discuss concerns in the area and were joined by PCC Dhindsa on his #D383Tour of Derbyshire.

Following a presentation about the role and priorities of the Police Commissioner to the packed audience he answers questions from the group about rural crime, police visibility and resources, speeding through the village, and cross border criminality.

PCC Dhindsa explained about his plans to increase the visibility of local policing in rural areas and introduction of new roles into the Force. The residents were happy to pay more for the Council Tax if it meant greater Police visibility.
