Benches damaged at Hathersage Bowls Club

We are appealing for information after two benches were damaged at Hathersage Bowls Club.

One was broken and the other set fire to sometime between Wednesday, January 2 and Wednesday, January 9.

PCSO Anthony Boswell of the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We have had reports of youngsters in the area during the evenings that week, and they may have information about the damage which was caused.

“If you think you can help in any way, please get in touch.”

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or have any information about the incident, please get in touch using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.

Please quote the reference number 19*22993 and name of the officer in the case, PCSO Anthony Boswell, in any correspondence.
