Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Officers were called to reports of a robbery outside a Tesco Express store in Hearthcote Road on Friday, January 25 at about 1pm.

It was reported that a man had been assaulted before two men made off from the scene with a quantity of cash.

We’re now appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Detective Sergeant Emily Atkinson said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw a White Ford Focus ST in the area between 12.00pm and 1.25pm yesterday.

“The car was displaying false number plates, reading FP13 OAO, but is understood to be a 65-18 plate, Ford Focus ST3 model with a black style pack trim.

We would also like to speak with any drivers with dash-cam footage from Hearthcote Road at the time.”
