Appeal for information after man found in Derby street with serious injuries

We want to hear from anyone who may have information about how a man sustained serious injuries in a street in Derby.

A 28-year-old man from Derby was found in Shaftesbury Street by a passer-by at around 6.30am on Sunday, January 27.

The man had been at a nearby club a short time before being found on the floor with serious injuries to his head and face – he is now recovering in hospital.

Officers want to speak to anyone who knows how the man came by his injuries as a matter of urgency.
