School safety visit to Hady Primary School

Alert message sent 05/02/2019 13:09:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Today officers from Chesterfield South Neighbourhood Team visited Hady Primary School to speak to the 310 students about personal safety.

Officers visited all 11 classes in the school to discuss road safety, safety when out and about and how the Police can help if they are ever in trouble.

Students also learnt about the officers uniforms and equipment and had the chance to dress up in hats brought along by the team.

It was a brilliant opportunity to engage with the next generation, some of the students look better in Police hats than I do!
