Findern police invite residents for Cuppa with a Copper

Alert message sent 20/02/2019 10:50:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Officers from our Mercia Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting the residents of Findern to join them for a ‘Cuppa with a Copper’

The event is being held next week in the Methodist Chapel on Lower Green in the village at 2pm on Wednesday, February 27.

PCSO Harriett Dunn, from the team, said:”This is something we have been doing across the patch. Whilst we like to get out and about as much as possible our area is a large rural area and it is difficult to see as many people as we would like.

“Holding events such as this allows us to be in a set place at a set date and time so if anyone has any policing issues they would like to discuss with us they know where we are. The other similar events have certainly proved popular.”

The team will be at the chapel until 3.30pm.

If you would like to speak to the team but are unable to make the event please contact them using any of the following non-emergency contact methods:
  • Facebook – send us a private message to /DerbyshireConstabulary or direct through the team’s facebook page below
