Witness appeal following attempted robbery at Chaddesden Post Office

Officers were called to Sussex Circle Post Office, Chaddesden at around 12.30pm on Friday, March 1, to reports of an attempted robbery.

A man had entered the Post Office and demanded money. Staff refused, and the man left moments later in the direction of Berkshire Street.

He is described as being white, of medium build and around 6ft tall. He is thought to be in his 20s, and has a ruddy-looking face with a red complexion.

He was wearing a black hat, a dark jacket, grey joggers, and trainers with a white sole.
