Derby robbery

A man has been robbed of his wallet in Derby.

At around 4pm on Saturday 23 May, a 76-year-old man was walking along Drewery Lane, from the direction of the Monk Street shops, when he was approached from behind by a man.

The man took his wallet from his trouser pocket and ran off. The victim tried to stop him but was unsuccessful.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, questioned and released on bail while inquiries continue.
