Increase in vehicle crime and shed breaks

During the last week there has been an increase in theft from vehicles. These have been in Kings Newton where tools from a locked van were taken . At Staunton Harold a car was also broken into.
A bicycle was removed from an insecure shed on Boulton Moor Robin's Close area.
Please remain vigilant and remove valuables where possible and make it difficult to access your property. Use van alarms and shed alarms where possible, security lights ,CCTV and try and target harden your property against criminals. Please phone any suspicions activity/incidents in on 101.
