Alert message sent 22/06/2020 11:05:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Six youths have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary after we released an appeal for information about an incident in Clowne last week.

We received a call shortly after 6pm on Thursday 18 June to report that the windows of a house in Fallowfield had been smashed open and a man had been threatened, before his Audi A3 was allegedly stolen.

An 18-year-old man and five teenage boys, two aged 15, one aged 16 and two aged 17 were later arrested.

The five teenage boys have since been released on police bail and the 18-year-old man has been released under investigation, whilst enquiries continue.

The Audi was recovered in Nottingham.
