Witness appeal after teenager alleged assaulted in Newhall

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a teenager was allegedly assaulted in Newhall.

The incident took place at around 4.30pm on Newhall School playing fields. The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was allegedly assaulted by another teenager.

An 18-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
