New Police Community Support Officers for two parts of Derby

Two new Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) have started on the beat in two parts of the city of Derby.

PCSO Vanessa Humphrey  and PCSO Lynnette Rickett, pictured on the left and right respectively, started their new positions earlier this month on Monday, 6 July.

Vanessa will join the Safer Neighbourhood team in Mackworth and Morley with Lynette joining the Allestree and Darley team.

Sergeant Dan Potts, who is in charge of Safer Neighbourhood policing in the areas, said: “We are really pleased to welcome Vanessa and Lynette to the teams.

“Their recruitment is part of the investment in Derbyshire’s Safer Neighbourhood policing and shows we are committed to listening to the community and taking positive action where problems exist.”
