Ashbourne man charged with assault and possession of cannabis

An Ashbourne man has been charged with assault and possession of a cannabis.

Graham Adams was arrested following an alleged assault on the Market Place, Ashbourne, on Friday 24 July at 10.35pm.

He was yesterday charged with one count of assault by beating and one count of possession of cannabis.

The 46-year-old, of Market Place, Ashbourne, was remanded by police and appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court where he was released on police bail – with a restriction to not enter Bramshall, near Uttoxeter, or the town of Ashbourne.
