COMMUNITY SAFETY - CLOCKS CHANGING AND ARRIVAL OF AUTUMNAL WEATHER

Alert message sent 28/10/2020 18:05:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Officers are out and about patrolling MELBOURNE and MERCIA tonight, reminding members of the public to wear appropriate and visible clothing when walking and cycling on country roads.

The clocks changed by one hour at the weekend, truly heralding the start of autumnal weather, so please do take extra care when enjoying the countryside.

Consider wearing high visible clothing and take every precaution to be noticeable to other road users.
