Hundreds of suspected cannabis plants found and man arrested

A man has been arrested after a suspected cannabis grow was found at a house in Alvaston.

Officers went to a house in Baker Street shortly after 8pm last night (Wednesday 4 November) and found what they believe to be several hundred cannabis plants growing inside.

A man was arrested nearby on suspicion of producing cannabis. He remains in custody.
