Appeal for information after death of woman in Hadfield

Detectives are appealing for information following the death of a woman in Hadfield.

Officers were called to reports that the body of a woman had been discovered in a field behind Glossopdale Community College just before 8am on 27 December.

The family of the woman have been notified and our thoughts are with them at this time.

There are no suspicious circumstances in relation to the woman’s death.

A file is now being prepared for the coroner and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the woman, who was wearing a long green coat and walking a brown Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Hadfield, between 6pm on 26 December and around 8am on 27 December.
