Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Dear Residents,

We hope that you are all keeping safe. Thank you to everyone for adhering to the current guidance & legislation. Your support during this public health crisis is appreciated. We have had a few reports of breaches which have been dealt with accordingly & appropriately.

Officers from the Alvaston/Boulton Safer Neighbourhood Team have been busy out in the community. After several reports of speeding being made, officers went out with the laser gun in different locations as requested by the community. They went to:
  • Brackens Lane
  • Upper Moor Road
  • Keldholme Lane
This resulting in ONLY one person receiving a ticket. Thanks to all those sticking to/within the speed limit.

As the terminator stated, “I’ll be back” in these areas in the future for further checks.

Also, whilst completing high visibility patrols, SNT spotted two vehicles drive down a cul-de-sac after they saw police. Both were being driven by uninsured and unlicensed drivers. #seized and tickets issued #OpDerbyshire
