Ashbourne woman charged with drink driving

A 55-year-old woman from Ashbourne has been charged with drink driving following an incident in Shirley, on Christmas Day.

Julie Marson, of Hall Lane, has also been charged with driving without a valid test certificate, driving without insurance, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Officers were called to the A52 in Shirley, at 6.35am on 25 December 2020 after receiving a report of a single car collision.

Ms Marson is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on 26 May.
