Speed checks

Alert message sent 20/02/2021 19:42:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

Dear Residents
Again your SNT have spent 1hr 20 mins on Boulton Lane (across two sites) checking #speeding.

Sadly 7 TORs* issued, top speed detected was 45mph.

This is despite all the signage for 30mph being correct and extra warning posters in place from Derby City Council.

We are in the process of contacting CREST (Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team) to assist us in reducing speeding in this area.

In the meantime, we'll be back in the area soon.

*Traffic Offence Report: ticket submitted to generate an offer to the offender of an educational course, a fine and points or court.

Sorry no picture today, they were kept too busy by #speeding #opderbyshire

Thank you & look after yourselves
