Speed Awareness Event held in Tintwistle

Hadfield SNT Officers PCSO's Buller and Harvey have completed a Speed Awareness event on the A628, Church Street, Tintwistle.

The event was held between 2 pm and 3 pm today [Mon 22/02/21].

A total of 480 vehicles went by the team during the event.

The speed limit at this location is 30 Mph.

6 of the vehicles were recorded driving at speeds of 36 Mph and above.

The registered keepers/owners of those vehicles will on this occasion receive letters of advice and notification of their speeding in Tintwistle today.

Our event today helps to gather information and data in relation to speeding in our villages.

We ask that all who use the roads in the High Peak be it visitors, or residents, to respect the speed limits.
